sizzling ! Vintage: really tall, thin Vintage Chinese Ivory Puzzle ball with Pedestal

This is a incredibly tall, very thin ivory sculpture of the traditional Chinese puzzle ball and pedestal. The entire structure is 8 1/4” tall, and the ball is 2 1/4” in diameter. The carving detail is quite exquisite especially. The ball does not sit very securely on top of the cup of the pedestal, so you will want to use “Crystalline Clear Museum Wax,” such as the the experts a the Smithsonian Institution use. A small dab of the wax will easily secure the ball so that it does not fall of, and the wax is supple, easily workable, and I can be reused. It is not expensive, and is readily available online.
