sizzling !​ Strawberry Tray / Picnic Essential Carrying Tray

Long ago, this type of carrier was employed in strawberry fields by workers. They lined the inside with small wooden pint baskets. Once whole the baskets were brimming with strawberries, they transported them to the end of the row, where their totals were tallied. The filled pint boxes were then loaded onto trucks, ready for market.
Each harvest contractor painted the sides of their carriers and other equipment in a color that represented their company. Over time, they began engraving or branding their equipment, but numerous still adhered to the tradition of painting for straightforward identification.
This carrier is painted in a weathered red hue, evoking nostalgia for bygone eras. Custom orders are available with a choice of colors, and for an additional fee, names or logos can be engraved on the side. The carrier features a long wooden handle that spans the length of the box.
