Standing Committees
Standing Committees are the backbone of MSA Pakistan, each dedicated to addressing key health-related topics and areas of interest for medical, dental, physiotherapy, nursing, and allied health students. These committees serve as platforms for skill development, knowledge sharing, and advocacy, empowering students to take an active role in shaping the future of healthcare.”
About the Standing Committees
MSA Pakistan operates on local and national levels through its six Standing Committees, each focusing on key health topics and areas of interest for medical, dental, physiotherapy, nursing, and allied health students.
Each Standing Committee is led by a National Officer, supported by a dedicated team that may include National Assistants and Local Officerss. The National Officer oversees the committee’s work, organizes sessions, and represents the committee at national meetings. Local Officers handle the day-to-day activities and initiatives within their respective Local Councils
The National Officer is primarily responsible for the activities, capacity building, and development of their Standing Committee. They play a key role in organizing sessions and events within MSA Pakistan, advocating for student interests, and ensuring the success of the committee’s initiatives.
The work of each Standing Committee is complemented by various activities such as training, campaigns, and advocacy efforts, providing students with opportunities to engage in both formal and non-formal education. Through these initiatives, MSA Pakistan empowers students to become agents of change, driving health awareness, education, and innovation at both local and national levels.
