This collar is wonderful for training your dog without having to have a physical leash on them. It is great for taking walks, teaching basic obedience, etc. The remote can control up to nine collars/dogs. (This only comes with one collar). I generally used the beep first. If this did not work to get my dog to obey then the vibration usually did he trick. The shock can also be used. It has a wide range of levels from hardly anything to fairly tough.
